About Dr. Brandt Weininger
Dr. Weininger grew up in the Tiffin area and graduated from Mohawk High School. After earning a B.S. in Biology from Otterbein College, he attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he met his wife Makenzie, a dental hygiene student. While in dental school, he served as the team dentist for The Ohio State University Athletic Department for two years, providing emergency and routine dental care for all Ohio State athletes.
Residency called the couple to South Carolina, where Dr. Weininger gained valuable experience in oral surgery, managing complex patients, IV sedation, pediatric dentistry, and complex restorative dental care. He also worked rotations in anesthesia, emergency medicine, and emergency trauma.
Dr. Weininger and his wife have three sons and are active in the local community.
Over 100 Years of Serving the Tiffin Community
For over 100 years, we’ve been serving residents in Tiffin and the surrounding areas. Dr. Weininger is only the fourth dentist at the helm of the practice. And he’s proud to continue providing reliable care to the community.
Dr. Robert E. Carrigan opened the original practice in 1917. Carrigan’s son took over in 1946 and practiced until 1987. Dr. Joe Temple then purchased the practice, until 2015, when Dr. Weininger took over. The practice still has about 20 patients who have seen all four dentists.
From the beginning, the practice has been all about serving the patients with the highest dental care possible. And Dr. and Makenzie Weininger are proud to continue that service with the latest dental technology and comprehensive dental services.
